ArchivesChicago data archiving solution is a top level, cloud-powered storage and search archiving platform for every piece of data. We also engage in file archiving. This means that when a file is removed or overwritten, the old file is put in a local (or network-based) archive. The files that are transferred to the archive keep the same timestamp. That timestamp is encoded in the file name. This means that many versions of files can be maintained for a certain amount of time.
